What type of menu does Tarsan i Jane offer?

We serve a seasonal, 12-course tasting menu nightly, Thursday through Saturday. This menu takes our guests on a culinary adventure from Valencia to the Pacific Northwest and lasts roughly 3 hours. We serve a 5 dish pre-set menu featuring paella as it's main every Sunday. This menu typically lasts one and a half hours. Supplements to both menus are offered as well and can be viewed while looking at your experience of choice.

Where is Tarsan i Jane located?

We are located at 4012 Leary Way NW, between Fremont and Ballard in Seattle, Washington. Find the rabbit and you have found us!

Do you have a dress code?

We do not have a dress code. Most of our guests prefer to dress up for the occasion, however we encourage you to come how you are most comfortable.

Where do I park?

Currently, we do not offer our own parking spaces, however, there is parking available just behind Tarsan i Jane in the residential area (3rd Avenue, 40th Street, and 41st Street).

What happens if I am running late or early?

We strive to offer our guests a truly unique and exquisite dining experience. In order for us to curate our guests experience to surpass their expectations, we ask that they respect the time of their reservation by being on time or no more than 15 minutes early/late. We purposefully stagger seating times so that each of our guests can get the attention they deserve.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are able to accommodate most severe dietary restrictions or allergies so long as we have advanced notices of said allergies. Although we hope you inform us at the time of making your reservation, 48 hours will suffice. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accommodate vegan meals. We prefer not to accommodate other dietary preferences as doing so may require the kitchen to remove ingredients from a dish that are paramount to its balance and integrity. We ask that our guests join us with an open mind ready to try what our kitchen has invested countless hours to create.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket is inclusive of our tasting menu, which changes frequently. You can also opt to purchase a beverage pairing or any other supplement, either when you purchase your ticket, or once you're at Tarsan i Jane. Tax and service charge are not included in the ticket price, but 20% service charge and 10.1% tax will be added automatically as you check out.

Why add a service charge automatically? Who receives it?

A service charge allows us to ensure that our employees are compensated fairly. Part of the beauty of a ticketing system is that you pay in advance, and don’t have to stick around to pay a bill. It prevents the end of the meal from becoming a transaction. Everyone at Tarsan i Jane serves food, and no guests have a particular server tied to their party. 100% of service charges are pooled amongst all members of Team Tarsan i Jane.

Can I get a refund or exchange my booking for a different night once purchased?

Just like a sporting event, concert, or theater ticket all sales are final. You can review all your confirmed bookings and/or transfer your bookings from your Tock profile.

How can I transfer my ticket to another person?

In order to transfer a ticket to another person, the recipient must have an account. The transferor should login to tarsanijane.tocktix.com and click "Account." Underneath a list of the tickets associated with the account is a button to "Transfer a Ticket." Click this button, then click the ticket you wish to transfer. Enter the recipient's email address (which must be associated with an account) and click "Transfer." The recipient will receive a confirmation email, the tickets will be listed on their Account page, and the tickets will no longer be listed on the Account page of the transferor. As the recipient, if there are any allergies or other special notes you would like us to know about, please send them to us at reservations@tarsanijane.com.

Is it possible to give away or sell my ticket?

Yes, it can be done! The ticket is completely transferable to another person (but not to a different date or time). Please note, selling tickets for greater than face value may be illegal in your area. Anyone who purchases a ticket from another patron should take care to be sure that the ticket and times are as claimed by requesting both an email confirmation from us as well as a printed ticket from the seller. Any tickets purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser's risk. Tarsan i Jane will not be held responsible for forgeries or misrepresentations.

Is Tarsan i Jane child-friendly?

If you would like to join us for a meal with young guests, we recommend bringing them on Sundays for paella as it's less formal nature and few communal plates are more welcoming to them. Of course, they are also welcome to join us for dinner so long as they are
